All of this is clearer when you
consider the Principles of Chiropractic
-
The body is a
self-healing and self-regulating organism.
-
The nerve
system controls and coordinates all of the functions in the
body.
-
Any
interference with the nerve system inhibits the body's ability to
regulate and heal itself.
-
Interference to the nerve system is
most commonly caused by misalignment of the bones of the spine
called "subluxations."
-
"Subluxations" are most often caused
by slips and falls, car accidents, stress, poor posture, poor
sleep habits, sports impacts, birth process, etc.
-
Maintaining a healthy and
well-aligned spine enhances the body's ability to get and stay
well.
Whew! Okay, that’s the end of my
lesson on chiropractic.
Of course, I could go on for page after page after page about
Chiropractic. But I
think you may lose interest in this report, and I have some very
important things to tell you, which really can help you a
lot!
Going
back to the misbehaving boxer…
…I say he has
a “subluxated mind” because subluxations affect the way a person
feels…the way he or she thinks…and all of that certainly affects the
way a person acts too.
Of course, we see physical manifestations of subluxation in
the way of headaches, numbness, pain, fatigue, reduced physical
movement, etc. But it’s
harder for the untrained eye to see the affects of
subluxation…misfunctioning nerves…on the mind. You see, I’ve seen some
radical changes in some of my patients’ state of mind, their outlook
on life, the way they deal with life’s daily stresses. It’s amazing when I hear
some patients say things like, “Doctor, I feel such peace, mental
comfort and a clear mind since coming to you. I’m more patient with
others, more kind and tolerant. I’m a better person thanks
to you.”
How
incredible do you think that makes me
feel?
You are
probably NOT a boxer…but all of us are susceptible to a “subluxated
mind.” That’s why it’s
important to visit me at Adolph Family Chiropractic to ensure you
are operating at your best in both body and mind!
